Much coverage recently about the way medicine is failing to deal with chronic disease because doctors aren’t taught about diet and nutrition. This is increasingly accepted in the case of diabetes and obesity, but it is equally true of cancer. A big and damaging gap in GPs medical training is that they learn virtually nothing about nutrition.  It’s daft when all the big chronic killers are rooted in lifestyle i.e. what patients eat and how they live.
